2002年から本格的にプロ活動を開始。これまでに400タイトルを超えるのアルバムに参加、CM録音は100本を超える。
初期のリーダーユニット”Shima&ShikouDUO”では4作品をリリース。トランペットピアノＤＵＯ編成としては異例のFujiRockFes07、東京ジャズ08への出演、全国タワーレコードJ-JAZZチャート1位獲得、メジャーデビュー、などの快挙を果たし、NHKなどの各種メディアで紹介される。オリジナル曲メインのバンド”SilentJazzCase”としてもアルバムを4作リリース。カヴァーアルバム”Jazzin’R&B”は発売から10年以上iTunesジャズチャート上位に居続ける異例のロングヒットを記録中。これを機に多作品にプロデューサーとして関わる。ジャズ回帰アルバム「名曲を吹く」シリーズ4部作では、国内・海外も含め数十都市のツアーを定期的に行い、ライフワークとなっている。各種サブスク配信サイトで大半の作品が聴けます（Spotify総リスナー162ヶ国から80万人超。re:plusとの共作アルバム”Prayer”300万再生超）。
他には、Ego-Wrappin’（2002年～2006年）のバンドメンバー、津軽三味線小山豊とのコラボ2作、タイバンコクのピアノトリオとの作品、などをリリース。2022年トラックメイカーとして活動も始動、Yahoo!ニュースにも掲載される。
CM「そうだ京都行こう」2011年秋版での演奏、テニス世界大会「楽天オープン2019」決勝での国歌トランペット独奏（皇室観覧）、なども特筆。
Yusuke Shima(trumpet, flute, composition)
Started professional activities in 2002. To date, he has participated in over 400 album titles and over 100 commercial recordings.
The early leader unit “Shima&ShikouDUO” has released 4 works. As a trumpet piano DUO, they have performed at FujiRockFes07 and Tokyo Jazz 08, won first place on the Tower Records Japan J-JAZZ chart, and made their major debut. Released 4 albums as a band “SilentJazzCase” that mainly plays original songs. The cover album “Jazzin’R&B” has been an exceptional long hit that has stayed at the top of the iTunes jazz chart for more than 10 years since its release. Taking this opportunity, he was involved in many works as a producer. For the 4-part jazz-return album “Blowing Meikyoku” series, he regularly tours dozens of cities both domestically and internationally, making it his life’s work. Most of his works can be listened to on various subscription distribution sites (Over 800,000 Spotify listeners from 162 countries. The album “Prayer” co-produced with re:plus has over 3 million views).
Other releases include two collaborations with Ego-Wrappin’ (2002-2006) band member, Tsugaru shamisen Yutaka Oyama, and a piece with a piano trio from Bangkok, Thailand. Started activities as a track maker in 2022 and will be posted on Yahoo! News.
Also noteworthy are the performance in the 2011 fall edition of the CM “Yes, let’s go to Kyoto” and the national anthem trumpet solo at the final of the tennis world tournament “Rakuten Open 2019” (viewing the imperial family).
